# Bullet Chart

> Set up a Bullet chart for target vs actual comparison.

A Bullet chart compares a **measure** to a **target** in a horizontal bar. Useful for KPIs and performance vs goal.

## Data Requirements

* One **dimension** (categories, e.g., sales rep, product)
* One or more **measures** (actual values)
* Optional: A **target** column or fixed target value (configured in **Bullet options** in Appearance)

## How to Set Up

1. Create a metric with a dimension and measure(s).
2. Click the **Charts** icon and choose **Bullet**.
3. Under **Required Axis**:
   * **Vertical Axis**: The category dimension.
   * **Horizontal Axis**: The measure(s).
4. In **Appearance** → **Bullet options** (or custom settings): Configure target values or ranges for each category if supported.

## Layout

Bullet charts use horizontal bars. The bar length is the measure; a marker or segment can show the target. Configuration options depend on the implementation.
